Because He Lives
Revelation 1:4-8
The resurrection of Jesus Christ gives us…
I. ________________
He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification. Romans 4:25
II. ___________________
20 But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep... 22 For as in Adam all die, so in Christ all will be made alive. 23 But each in his own turn: Christ, the firstfruits; then, when he comes, those who belong to him.
I Corinthians 15:20-23
By his power God raised the Lord from the dead, and he will raise us also. I Corinthians 6:14
30 “At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.”
16 For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first. 17 After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with
them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
I Thessalonians 4:16-17
III. ______________ and _______________
11 Day after day every priest stands and performs his religious duties; again and again he offers the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins. 12 But when this priest had offered for all time one sacrifice for sins, he sat down at the right hand of God. 13 Since that time he waits for his enemies to be made his footstool, 14 because by one sacrifice he has made perfect forever those who are being made holy.
Hebrews 10:11-14
“You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God, and they will reign on the earth.”
Revelation 5:10
“And you will be called priests of the LORD, you will be named ministers of our God.” Isaiah 61:6
…you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. I Peter 2:5
We are therefore Christ's ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ's behalf: Be reconciled to God.
II Corinthians 5:20
And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. II Corinthians 5:19

Thank you so much for your sermons on line. Your voice and especially your words of God are such a blessing when I am up in the mountains. I feel still a part of church land not so lonely. Even tho I have a good church here I miss BC.
