Month of Love

  1. It’s All About Love

13 And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love. 1 Follow the way of love...                                        I Corinthians 13:13-14:1

30 “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31 The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these.”                               Mark 12:30-31

Do everything in love.                      I Corinthians 16:14

Four things the bible says about love:

     I.        We Love Because _______God Loves Us_________

7 …love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God. 8 Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love.

                                       I John 4:7-8

We love because God first loved us.             I John 4:19

We know and we rely on the love that God has for us.

                                           I John 4:16

II.        Love Is a ___Choice_____ and a _____Commitment_________

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

               John 13:34

III.        Love Is an ____Action______ Not Just ____Emotion_____

Let us love not with words or tongue but with action and in truth.                                                 I John 3:18

4 “You have forsaken your first love.” 5 Remember the height from which you have fallen! Repent and do the things you did at first.                                        Revelation 2:4-5

   IV.        Love Is a ________Habit________

“If you only love those who love you what credit is that to you?”                                            Luke 6:32

Keep on loving each other as brothers.     Hebrews 13:1

And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight.

Philippians 1:9
