Jubilee Is…
I. _Good News to the Poor_
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 5:3
II. _Healing to the Brokenhearted_
He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted. Isaiah 61:1
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and contrite heart, O God, you will not despise. Psalm 51:17
This is the one I esteem: he who is humble and contrite in spirit, and trembles at my word. Isaiah 66:2
Come, let us return to the Lord. He has torn us to pieces but he will heal us; he has injured us but he will bind up our wounds. Hosea 6:1
Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Counterfeit Riches:
1. _Money_
They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshiped and served created things rather than the Creator. Romans 1:25
2. _Self-righteousness_
4 If anyone else thinks he has reasons to put confidence in the flesh, I have more: 5 circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee; 6 as for zeal, persecuting the church; as for legalistic righteousness, faultless. 7 But whatever was to my profit I now consider loss for the sake of Christ. 8 What is more, I consider everything a loss compared to the surpassing greatness of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them rubbish, that I may gain Christ 9 and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ--the righteousness that comes from God and is by faith. Philippians 3:3‑9
The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The oracles they gave you were false and misleading.

III. _God's Riches for the Poor_
For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, so that you through his poverty might become rich.
II Corinthians 8:9
1. God’s _Kindness_ & _Patience_
Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you toward repentance? Romans 2:4
2. God’s _Wisdon_
Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable his judgments, and his paths beyond tracing out! Romans 11:33
3. God’s _Grace_
In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God’s grace. Ephesians 1:7
4. God’s _Mercy_
What if he did this to make the riches of his glory known to the objects of his mercy, whom he prepared in advance for glory-- Romans 9:23
Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment.
